Stan James cut Cue Card from 25/1 to 20/1 for the Champion Hurdle after his 8l demolition of his field in the Grade 2 Novices’ Hurdle.
He was also cut from 5s to 3s for the Supreme Novices’.
Head of PR Charlie McCann: ” Trainer Colin Tizzard suggested he would make a decision on the Champion around Xmas but certainly didn’t rule out going for the Big One. We have cut Cue Card from 25 to 20s for the Champion Hurdle and from 5s to 3s for the Supreme which suggests we still believe the novice route is the most likely option.”
