Paul Ferguson has one selection for us on Thursday; Floressa in the Cheltenham 17:30. Compare odds and bet.
A winner on debut at Ludlow four weeks ago FLORESSA (5:30) can make it two-from-two in the concluding bumper at Cheltenham this afternoon.
Nicky Henderson’s four-year-old was balloted out of the Grade 2 at Aintree’s Grand National meeting and the fact that she was being pitched in there just a fortnight after winning on debut suggests she is well regarded.
The form of the Ludlow race was given a boost when the third won stylishly at Hexham on Monday and the daughter of Poliglote showed plenty of pace that day. Quicker ground is an unknown and a slight concern given her pedigree.
Thursday’s selection:
5:30 Cheltenham – Floressa; 7/2 William Hill
