Racing returns in Britain on Wednesday and recent course-and-distance winner BADDESLEY KNIGHT (2:10) is taken to land Plumpton’s opener.
A bumper winner at the track, too, Chris Gordon’s six-year-old had earlier shaped with promise in novice hurdles at Newbury and Sandown. He is burdened with a 6lbs penalty here and, if Acey Milan can recapture his bumper form, he would probably be difficult to beat. That said, he’s yet to perform to the same level over hurdles, so preference is for the course specialist.
