Although he faces a couple of rivals with previous chase experience SHADY OPERATOR (2:30) is worth backing on his debut over fences at Punchestown today.
A maiden hurdle winner at Cork last November, the Court Cave five-year-old went on to chase home Sharjah, before returning from five months off to run a blinder at Punchestown.
He looks a smart prospect and is one I’m looking forward to monitoring throughout the campaign.
