There are some promising novices on show at Exeter today, none more so than Black Op who makes his chase debut.
Another fencing debutant is GUNFLEET (2:35) who can be backed each-way in the novices’ handicap chase, some 35 minutes earlier.
The son of Oscar was progressive when last seen over hurdles, so it is noteworthy that Emma Lavelle is happy to head straight over fences. Uttoxeter winner Just A Sting is respected, but Gunfleet remains open to considerable improvement as a stayer.
