Fourth at Bangor last month JACBEQUICK (1:30) is of interest at Fakenham this afternoon, on his handicap debut off a mark of 109.
The seven-year-old has had plenty of racing on the Flat – won three of his last four starts under that code – but has had just the four hurdles starts and he shaped a fair bit better on his latest outing, which was his first hurdles run for David Pipe.
Although the winner has let the form down a little, the runner-up ran well in a Cheltenham maiden hurdle last week, the third Court Royale won at Ludlow last week, and the fifth finished third in what looked a decent event at Chepstow yesterday. With conditions to suit, he looks capable of going well.
