Paul Ferguson has one selection for us on Tuesday; Djin Conti in the Startford 2.15 Compare odds and bet.
Stratford stages a decent little novices’ hurdle that opens their card this afternoon, in which DJIN CONTI (2:15) can score for Harry Whittington and Gavin Sheehan.
The five-year-old scored on his second start in Britain – at Wincanton in May – when appearing to appreciate the decent ground and whilst it might not be the strongest piece of form, the second and fourth have won since. He travelled nicely that day and the slightly longer trip might well be in his favour here.
Of the opposition, Henry Smith is the in-form rival, but Accord might be the biggest danger, in receipt of 6lbs. He’s not been seen for 235 days, but he did win first time out over fences last season and he has some decent hurdles form in the book. He is respected.
Tuesday’s selection:
2:15 Stratford – Djin Conti
