A winner at Salisbury last month Bedouin’s Story (15:05) can defy top-weight at Thirsk on Monday.
The Godolphin-owned colt finished third on his handicap debut at Newmarket recently, but easily fared best of those that raced down the middle of the track and the slightly shorter trip ought to suit. Easy ground is a slight concern, but he looks more than capable of winning a handicap of this nature from his current mark.
