Paul Ferguson has one selection for us on Sunday; Karl des Grosse
in the Tramore 14:10. Compare odds and bet.
Third in a three-year-old hurdle in France (Vichy) when trained by Emmanuel Clayeux, Karl des Grosse (14:10) looks capable of making a winning debut for Willie Mullins in Ireland on Sunday.
The grey held every chance two out and though he was eventually well beaten by the winner – won again next time – it was a promising debut and he only lost second spot in the dying strides. Runner-up was Sayo, who also joined Mullins, for whom he won a maiden hurdle at Naas before finishing third in the Triumph Hurdle. A literal reading of that form would see the selection difficult to beat here.
Sunday’s selection:
2:10 Tramore – Karl des Grosse; 5/6 Paddy Power
