Paul Ferguson has one selection for us on Wednesday; Redemption Son in the Worcester 19:50. Compare odds and bet.
We haven’t seen Redemption Song (19:50) since she contested a Grade 2 mares’ novices’ hurdle at Sandown in February, but she returns to action on a reasonable looking mark and is of interest at Worcester.
Kevin Frost’s six-year-old won an Irish Point-to-Point and a Wetherby bumper before finishing fifth in the Grade 2 at Aintree, and she made a winning debut over hurdles (off a similar break) at Market Rasen last season. She then finished third behind one of today’s rivals Majestic Moll – also respected here – before disappointing over further on heavy ground, which might not have been suitable. An opening mark of 119 doesn’t look too harsh and this is her first start since undergoing a wind-operation.
Wednesday’s selection:
19:50 Worcester – Redemption Son; 11/4 Bet365
