Paul Ferguson has three selections for us today; 2:20 Exeter: Voramar Two; 2:30 Sedgefield: Hollo Ladies;

The Desert Orchid Restaurant Beginners’ Chase at Exeter on Tuesday is where Paul Nicholls unleashes Royal Charm (2:50) over fences and the two-time course winner can be expected to make a winning chase debut. Early price 8/11
Held in high regard, fences have always promised to bring out the best in him and the form of his victory here last December reads particularly well.
Nicholls will be hoping Royal Charm is the second novice chaser to score for him on the card, as he saddles Chepstow runner-up Watamu Bay half an hour earlier, but he faces stiff opposition in the shape of Voramar Two (2:20). Early price 9/4 Stan James
Philip Hobbs’ seven-year-old won twice at Taunton after a wind-op and he has reportedly had another since pulling up at Aintree in April.
The son of Kayf Tara has the look of a chaser and is another fancied to score at the first attempt.
The third chasing debutant to side with on Tuesday is Hollo Ladies (2:30) up at Sedgefield. Early Price 11/8 bet365
Graham Lee’s mount is making his debut for Ferdy Murphy, having won a Grade 1 novice hurdle at Leopardstown last Christmas for Noel Meade.
Though a lot of the stable’s runners are looking in need of their reappearance, it will be disappointed if he can’t land the spoils before going on to bigger and better things.
Tuesday’s selections:
2:20 Exeter: Voramar Two
2:30 Sedgefield: Hollo Ladies
2:50 Exeter: Royal Charm
