Frankie Dettori can end the Guineas meeting on a high, by landing the final two races on Sunday.
Firstly, impressive Newbury winner Lah Ti Dar (4:45) ought to be difficult to beat in the Listed Pretty Polly Stakes.
John Gosden’s well-bred filly looked a potential star on debut and I will be hugely disappointed if she can’t maintain her 100% record here.
Dettori takes the mount aboard Dukhan (5:20) in the concluding handicap and he was unfortunate not to make a winning return over course-and-distance at last month’s Craven meeting.
Hugo Palmer’s Teofilo colt looked all over the winner when kicking clear, only to be collared in the shadow of the post. Despite a 6lbs rise, a reproduction of that effort might well be good enough.
