An eye-catcher when fifth in the Coral Cup last month THE ORGANIST (3:15) can land the valuable mares’ handicap hurdle at Cheltenham this afternoon.
Oliver Sherwood’s seven-year-old made up plenty of ground from the back of the field that day and will appreciate the better ground here. Ideally, she might appreciate a little further these days – especially on this ground – but this is a weaker race than the Coral Cup and she was an unlucky fourth here 12 months ago.
She remains on a mark from which she can win another handicap and Sherwood’s horses seem in decent form (couple ran well in defeat at Aintree last week).
