There was a rare slip from Rangers in the SPL last week when Inverness escaped Ibrox with a draw, but the Gers will be looking for maximum points at St Mirren (11/1, Ladbrokes) on Sunday.
Walter Smith’s men are unsurprisingly odds-on (1/3, Coral) to return victorious, but St Mirren did well in beating Aberdeen here last week, and some may find value in Betdaq’s 4/1 for the draw. A safer bet, though, maybe Totesport’s 11/10 for both teams to net.
Hearts also slipped up at home last weekend when 3-0 losers to Kilmarnock, and it is no surprise that they are 7/4 outsiders with Betfred in the live Edinburgh derby at Hibernian (13/8, William Hill) on Sunday.
Despite that loss, there could be merit in backing Hearts as they perform better on the road, while the Hibees have won just one of their last 10 matches. With the Jambos winning their last two clashes 2-1, a repeat scoreline at 9/1 (Partybets) could pay dividends.
