Paul Ferguson has one selection for us on Sunday; Dadsintrouble in the Exeter 15:05. Compare odds and bet.
Having failed to complete in two of his three chase starts Dadsintrouble (3:05) reverts to hurdles at Exeter on Sunday and looks capable of making his presence felt in the Pertemps Qualifier.
Tim Vaughan’s eight-year-old was just about to lay down a challenge when crashing out four fences from home at Taunton last time and is only 1lb higher than when third in a competitive handicap hurdle at Aintree on Grand National day.
Twice a winner at Haydock last term – once on soft ground – qualifying for the Pertemps Final seems a good move and he could easily take this prize, if handling the likely heavy going. Available at 10-1 on Saturday evening, he was already into 7s at the time of writing and he looks worthy of each-way support in an open contest.
Sunday’s selection:
3:05 Exeter: Dadsintrouble; 11/2 Paddy Power
