Although he was beaten at short odds on his reappearance Voix des Tieps (4:20) is worth another chance in the bumper at Naas on Sunday.
Willie Mullins’ six-year-old had chased home the useful Someday on his sole start last term and he finished third in what looked a fairly strong bumper at Leopardstown over Christmas. Beaten by two potentially smart sorts, that could still turn out to be a decent run and he looks up to getting off the mark here.
Of the opposition, Gallant John Joe finished fourth in the Goffs Land Rover Bumper – one place in front of the exciting Rapid Escape – and a reproduction of that effort would make him the likely main danger.
