A bumper winner in Ireland for Timmy Hyde PLANET NINE (3:45) followed up under a penalty on his debut for Rose Dobbin and can make a winning start to his hurdles career at Wetherby on Friday.
The well-bred five-year-old was keen early on and lost his position mid-race – possibly due to greenness – before staying on strongly to make it two from two at Perth. He left the impression that day that he would have benefitted for another summer and looks one who should make an impact as a novice hurdler in the north.
