Live on Skysports 3: Thu 19.30: It’s Marco Fu v Neil Robertson and Shaun Murphy v Mark Selby tonight from Hutton Moor Leisure Centre.
Marco Fu and Neil Robertson come head to head in what could be a very close called thing. Fu, 12/5 with Betfred, is definitely overpriced here, especially after he dismantled Ding Junhui 5-1 last week to go top of the league. Then again, Roberston did the same to Ding 2 weeks ago, going one better to grab a 6-0 whitewash. Robertson is 5/4 with Sportingbet.
Robertson didn’t impress in the recent Power Snooker but it has to be said that the format didn’t suit him so well. Everything points to the 3-3 draw between these 2, 9/4 with Ladbrokes.
In the other match up, bottom placed Shaun Murphy is 21/10 with Betdaq to beat Mark Selby. Murphy has not played since the beginning of October, when he drew with Ronnie O’Sullivan and played well recently in the Power Snooker, reaching the semi’s. Selby, 6/4 with Stan James, is quite difficult to call – he lost to Ding, then thrashed Fu but limped out of Power Snooker. Murphy looks like a good outside bet here tonight.
