Better Getalong 5/4 @ Ayr

Paul Ferguson has one selection for us on Monday; Better Getalong in the Ayr 14.05. Compare odds and bet.

There are some nice novice hurdlers on show on Monday, including Global Stage and, in Ireland, Early Doors.

Both were trading fairly short overnight, with the former looking to get off the mark for Fergal O’Brien, who saddled a nice bumper winner at Cheltenham on Saturday.

In the very next race, Nicky Richards’ debutant BETTER GETALONG (2:05) looks very much the one to beat on bumper form.

A dual winner in that sphere – got the better of Saturday’s winner Some Reign at Kelso in February – he went on to finish midfield in the Champion Bumper at Cheltenham.  With his main market rival Saint Freule appearing to endure a tough race on debut at Hexham, the six-year-old is fancied to score under Ryan Day.

Monday’s selection:
2:05 Ayr – Better Getalong; 5/4 betfred
