Paul Ferguson has one selection for us on Tuesday; Lalor in the Exeter 14:50. Compare odds and bet.
Aintree bumper winner LALOR (2:50) makes his hurdling debut in what appears a warm contest at Exeter, but he’s expected to make the best possible start.
Hugely impressive when winning at Wincanton before landing the Grade 2 at the Grand National meeting, the five-year-old has the size for hurdling (despite not the pedigree) and returns with his stable in cracking form – Richard Woollacott saddling two winners from just four runners in the past fortnight.
Of the opposition, Paul Nicholls’ French import Kapcorse shaped well on his sole start at Auteuil, whilst JP McManus’ other runner Onefortheroadtom defied greenness (appeared to lose his position possibly due to hitting a flat spot before running on strongly) to win an Oldcastle maiden point.
After shaping with promise in a couple of bumpers, Harefield is another to note going forward, but Lalor sets a high standard and gets the vote in what looks a potentially informative event.
