Domestically, Sedgefield stages a decent card and dual course winner BORDEAUX BILL (3:35) can make a winning chase debut.
Brian Ellison’s winning Irish pointer will need further in time and was impressive here twice earlier in the year when successful in 2m4f novice hurdles. He couldn’t cope with the rise in class at Aintree, but this looks a good starting point and, given his proven stamina over further, I expect him to be ridden handily throughout.
If he jumps proficiently, the six-year-old might be difficult to peg back under Danny Cook.
