Disappointing on both starts over hurdles last term – fifth on debut and pulled-up over Christmas – BLAKERIGG (4:30) returns to action at Kelso today and remains of interest.
Given that the six-year-old has been off since that latest run here almost nine months ago, it is safe to assume he has had his problems, but he looked promising on his sole bumper start the season before.
A big son of Presenting, he might improve for being given time and could be worth chancing on this return.
