Doesyourdogbite (5:00) won his first three starts over hurdles last season – latterly in handicap company (off 132) and Kempton on Boxing Day – and he is of interest on his return to the Flat at Ffos Las on Sunday.
Jonjo O’Neill’s five-year-old returns on a mark of 75, just 3lbs higher than when a solid second in a decent Chester handicap last June. His form tailed off a little in the second half of the jumps season and, while connections might have one eye on some decent middle-distance handicap hurdles in the coming months, he has the ability to feature at this level, despite shouldering top-weight.
