A shade disappointing on his most recent start at Galway DON’T TOUCH IT (6:55) can bounce back at Ballinrobe this evening.
The seven-year-old won a handicap at the Punchestown Festival the time before, having earlier shown promise against some smart novices.
He actually shaped a little better than the bare result last time – travelled well but didn’t jump fluently at a crucial stage of the race – and that was a strong novice chase.
A Grade 1 winning hurdler, he is favoured by the conditions of this evening’s race and he can win for a third time over fences. Ladbrokes were Evens at the time of writing.
