Riverside Theatre won for Paul Ferguson on Monday at 6/4. Today we have two selections from Exeter.
Henrietta Knight landed Exeter’s Grade 2 Haldon Gold Cup four times between 2001 and 2006 and the trainer can strike again on Tuesday with Somersby (2:35).
The six-year-old looked a high-class recruit to fences last season and a reproduction of most of his form ought to be good enough, plus he remains open to plenty of improvement after just four chase starts.
Court In Motion (4:35) was most unfortunate not to win on his hurdles debut here in February and was then beaten by a smart sort at Warwick.
Held in the highest regard by Emma Lavelle, the five-year-old can get off the mark in the closing event before going on to bigger and better things.
