Rapid Escape arrives from the Point-to-Point ranks with a big reputation, but EARLY DOORS (6:05) looked an exciting prospect on debut and is worth backing at the prices, in tonight’s Goffs Land Rover Bumper.
Joseph O’Brien’s Soldier Of Fortune four-year-old showed plenty of pace to win on the inside track here and, though the runner-up failed to advertise the form next time, it was visually impressive.
Since purchased by JP McManus, he was available at 5/2 in places on Monday evening and his experience under Rules could be a big advantage here.
