The concluding bumper from Ayr looks a decent event this afternoon, with Silver Bullion impressing with how he travelled when winning over course-and-distance.
The form of that race has taken a knock or two and the race between Better Getalong and SAM’S ADVENTURE (16:35) probably represents a stronger form line.
The latter is fancied to reverse form on revised terms. He looked all over the winner turning in, but was unable to concede 8lbs to the winner. On 5lbs better terms and with the ground again to his liking, Brian Ellison’s five-year-old can win for a third time.
Last season, he was a 19-length winner on heavy ground at Wetherby, before defeating Bags Groove in the valuable DBS Bumper at Newbury.
