Paul Ferguson has one selection for us on Sunday; Mossback in the Naas 12:50 Compare odds and bet.
The pick of the action on Sunday comes from Naas, where Death Duty bids to make it four from four over hurdles for Gordon Elliott, Gigginstown House Stud and Jack Kennedy.
The six-year-old really ought to be difficult to beat in the Grade 1 Lawlor’s Novice Hurdle, but he is priced up accordingly, while the same connections introduce a nice prospect in the opening maiden, in the shape of Mossback (12:50).
A bumper winner for Pat Doyle at Limerick, where he travelled notably well before showing signs of greenness in the closing stages, he needs to step forward here (as the form hasn’t worked out) but I liked the way he got the job done on debut last season and he looks open to considerable improvement.
Elsewhere on the card American Tom bids to make it two from two over fences for Willie Mullins and Ruby Walsh, having impressed on debut. He is another that will be sent off fairly short, however.
