Man City are the clear 5/1 favs with Totesport for the Europa League ahead of Thursday’s set of group games.
Despite a tricky group for City, they should have no problems qualifying and from then on are a match for any team in the competition over 2 legs.

One of those teams are Man City’s group opponents Juventus, 16/1 with Betfred. Juve’s performances in Serie A have come on markedly in recent weeks and a very assured European display away at Eastlands shows they will be worthy foes for anyone in the Europa League. An each-way punt on the Italians, at half odds for making the final, seems like a good bet at this stage.
Last year’s winners Atheltico Madrid are 20/1 with Skybet while the 2008 champions, Zenit St Petersburg, are also 20/1 (Boylesports).
Villareal, who have enjoyed a good start to the season in La Liga, can be backed at 28/1 with Betfred and look forward to a timely visit of group leaders PAOK who have just sacked their manager.
