Coral has trimmed Dream Ahead a point into 6/ to win for next year’s 2,000 Guineas ahead of this weekend’s Dewhurst Stakes.
The moves comes following support for the dual-Group One winner ahead of his appearance in this weekend’s reappearance at the Dubai Dewhurst Stakes at Newmarket. Coral make Dewhurst rival, Frankel, is 2/1 favourite for the colts’ Classic in May, with a third unbeaten two-year-old, Saamidd, quoted at 8/1.
“Dream Ahead has been well-backed for the Guineas today, with punters clearly expecting a big run from David Simcock’s charge on Saturday, and there’s no doubt that his Classic odds will tumble if he completes a Group One hat-trick in the Dewhurst,” Coral‘s David Stevens told betrescue.com’s newsdesk.
