Worcester stages a couple of decent handicap hurdles for the time of year on Sunday, with Mr Kit Cat of interest in the 2m contest, although he doesn’t look the most trustworthy.
With that in mind, the day’s selection comes in the 2m4f Bet ToteTrifecta Handicap Hurdle, in the shape of Peter Bowen’s Curious Carlos (4:50).
He was given a very confident ride when winning impressively at Ffos Las last month and a 6lb rise seems fair. The seven-year-old seems in the form of his life and gets the vote in what looks a competitive affair.
Kashmir Peak is respected on his debut for Dan Skelton, while the Ian Williams-trained Byron Flyer arrives here in search of a four-timer and also won very impressively last time, at Market Rasen. He looks a big threat to the selection.
