Brendan Powell has his horses in good form at present and he can land the opening novices’ hurdle at Market Rasen on Wednesday with LETTHERIVERRUNDRY (2:10).
The six-year-old remains a maiden after five attempts over hurdles, but he has shown plenty of promise and he had earlier looked useful when winning a Towcester bumper.
It is significant that his better efforts have come when racing right handed and he bumped into a nice horse here last time, with the pair a long way clear. A reproduction of that effort ought to be good enough.
