Paul Ferguson fancies Dunraven Storm and Ballycracken to do the business at Exeter On Thursday.
Dual bumper winner Dunraven Storm (2:25) can make a winning hurdles debut for the in-form Philip Hobbs stable in the opener at Exeter on Thursday.
A winner on debut at Ascot, he bounced back to winning ways at this track in April after flopping in the Champion Bumper at Cheltenham.
Binocular’s half-brother Remember Now is a really interesting opponent, but he has been off for some time and is likely to come on for the run.
Remember Now’s stable-mate Ballycracken (4:45) may not be one of the stable-stars at Seven Barrows, but he has been given a chance by the handicapper and is of interest later on the card.
His point-to-point form reads well and he was sent off favourite on both starts for Nicky Henderson last winter. The better ground and shorter trip should be in his favour here.
Thursday’s selections:
2:25 Exeter Dunraven Storm
4:45 Exeter Ballycracken
