A faller on both starts over hurdles to date (selected here on both occasions) LAKE VIEW LAD (2:00) deserves a change in luck and is given another chance in the second division of the maiden hurdle at Ayr.
The winner of a Hexham bumper on his debut for Nick Alexander, the grey departed early on his hurdling bow, but was all set to score when crashing out at the final flight here last time.
The six-year-old, who had earlier finished third in a bumper at the Punchestown Festival, is a keen going sort so the drop in trip isn’t a worry and he clearly handles deep ground. A clear round should finally see him get off the mark over timber.
