Paul Ferguson has one selection for us on Wednesday; Fionn Mac Cul in the Taunton 13:40. Compare odds and bet.
Though he finished last of six on his debut under rules FIONN MAC CUL (1:40) remains of interest based on his Irish point-to-point form.
Third on both starts between the flags, the form of his second run reads particularly well, chasing home the exciting Born Survivor (now with Dan Skelton) with Warren Greatrex’s Chef D’Oeuvre back in fourth (won his next point and has already won over hurdles for Greatrex).
The Oscar gelding possesses plenty of size, catching the eye in the paddock at Aintree and, with the Venetia Williams yard in such good form, he looks worth a small interest in an ordinary looking division of the maiden hurdle.
Hopefully, given his last run, he will be overlooked in the market and should be backed each-way.
