Fourth when put up here in the Greatwood Hurdle last month Renneti (3:35) clearly has his quirks, but is again worth each-way support in today’s Ladbroke Hurdle.
Willie Mullins’ six-year-old gave away plenty of ground at the start at Cheltenham (has refused to race in the past) but still moved stylishly into contention and he has the raw ability to win a valuable handicap.
Up 3lbs, provided he gets away on terms, I’d expect the Cesarewitch fourth to go close, despite his big weight. Deteriorating ground won’t be an inconvenience either.
