Paul Ferguson has one selection for us on Sunday; Take A Bow in the Uttoxeter 17:20. Compare odds and bet.
Though he lacks the experience of most of today’s rivals Take A Bow (5:20) remains a horse of some interest off his current mark and he is worth siding with in the 3m handicap chase at Uttoxeter on Sunday.
Lawney Hill’s six-year-old won a maiden hurdle at the track a year ago and he shaped reasonably well when third on his debut over fences at the course last month. The Norse Dancer gelding won a good ground bumper for Nicky Henderson in October 2013 (beat the smart Southfield Vic) and he remains relatively unexposed as a stayer. It will be disappointing if he can’t win a race off 115.
