Paul Ferguson has one selection for us on Friday; Raw Impulse in the Haydock 14:10. Compare odds and bet.
Haydock’s opening handicap looks a competitive event, with Cyril very much in form and Newera scoring here a fortnight ago.
However, they face a couple of lightly raced colts in Bermondsey and Raw Impulse with preference for the latter.
Bermondsey won a maiden at the track with a bit to spare last time and could easily step forward now upped to middle-distances, but the selection won a warm Nottingham maiden back in May (worked out well since) and looks on a fair mark.
If he handles the quicker surface, Clive Cox’s Makfi colt can shoulder top-weight to success.
Friday’s selection:
2:10 Haydock – Raw Impulse; 4/1 Stan James
