Nicky Henderson saddled a couple of winners yesterday and can strike at Taunton today with Vodka ‘n Tonic (4:20) in the 2m1f handicap hurdle.
The six-year-old, who beat the useful Inner Drive in a Lingfield bumper last February, was well supported for his handicap debut last month and showed improvement on his earlier novice hurdle form.
Today’s better ground should bring about further improvement and it will be disappointing if he can’t win a race off his current mark of 104. The selection opened up at 2/1
