Live on ITV1: Tues 19.45: It’s 18/5 (BetVictor) to be a score draw in the first leg of Chelsea’s Champions League tie with PSG.
There are no easy ties in the knockout stage of the Champions League but bookies feel pretty confident that Chelsea will plot a route to the next round, betway pricing the Blues at just 4/9 to get the better of Paris St Germain over the course of two legs.
The layers however, look less certain about whether or not Jose Mourinho’s troops can take a first leg lead back to to Stamford Bridge, indeed they’re slight outsiders at 15/8 with bet365 ahead of the pair’s opening clash in the French capital.
PSG, 9/5 chances at William Hill, are a formidable outfit on their own patch but they’re missing one or two key personnel for this showdown, which looks decent value at 9/4 (Betfred) to finish all square.
Chelsea would probably settle for that, knowing they enjoy home advantage next time around and they’ll certainly be satisfied if they can manage to grab an away goal, something that proved crucial when the pair met in the later rounds of the competition last season.
It’s 18/5 courtesy of BetVictor to be a score draw at the Parc des Princes and the same firm mark 11/2 against a 1-1 scoreline.
