Paul Ferguson has one selection for us on Monday; Coyaba in the Lingfield 15:50. Compare odds and bet.
If Lingfield gets the go-ahead on Monday Coyaba (3:50) is fancied to land the extended 2m3f maiden hurdle for Martin Keighley and owner Liz Prowting.
A smart bumper performer last winter, he finished runner-up to a smart sort on his debut over timber in November, before disappointing at Newbury’s Hennessy meeting. The yard was under a cloud at the time, however, and Keighley has his horses in much better form now, so the five-year-old is easily given another chance.
The ground was described as heavy when the Midnight Legend gelding made a winning racecourse debut at Ffos Las (runner-up won yesterday, incidentally) so he should handle conditions.
Monday’s selection:
3:50 Lingfield: Coyaba; 4/1 Paddy Power
