England all-rounder Luke Wright has signed a new three-year deal with Twenty20 Cup champions Sussex.
Wright, 24, has become an established international during his time at Hove and has appeared in a dozen one-day internationals and eight Twenty20 matches for his country in 2009.
He also made England’s Test party for the tour of South Africa on the back of 527 runs and 21 wickets in eight County Championship matches last summer.
“The contract extension is exciting for me and I want to be a big part of a bright future for the club,” said Wright, who moved to the south coast from Leicestershire at the age of 18. “I love playing for Sussex and the county have been great in helping me achieve my goal of playing for England.
“I look forward to winning more trophies with this remarkable club in years to come.”
Sussex coach Mark Robinson said: “Luke is one of the most exciting young players in the country and we’re delighted that he has committed to the club for the immediate future.”
