The Luca Cumani trained Previs is the 5/2 second favourite with Victor Chandler to win the Hong Kong Cup at Sha-Tin on Sunday, following todays draw, and despite being handed stall nine of ten, his trainer, and jockey Keiren Fallon, are very hopeful.
In his quest to land the worlds richest race on turf, Cumanis charge takes on a star studded field, and amongst his opponents will be Hong Kong Derby winner and race favourite Collection (9/4 Bet365), Prince of Waless Stakes winner Vision DEtat, (5/1 Ladbrokes) and last year’s winner Eagle Mountain, trained by Mike de Kock can be backed at 8/1 with William Hill.
Meanwhile, Arc runner-up Youmzain is the 3-1 favourite with Coral to land the mile and a half Vase, Hong Kong horse of the year Viva Pataca is the 10-3 second favourite.
