FOOTBALL BETTING:

Cardiff v Plymouth
CARDIFF’s postponement last week has given extra time for Kelvin Etuhu (ankle), Kevin McNaughton (calf) and Peter Whittingham (groin) to recover from injuries. Gabor Gypes could start, while Joe Ledley (hip) is struggling. Miguel Comminges detached ligament) is definitely out.
PLYMOUTH’s Jim Paterson (hamstring) should be fit, while loanee Darcy Blake (heel) will hope to be ready in time.

Coventry v Doncaster
COVENTRY’s on-loan Richard Wood is still struggling with an ankle injury, while Sammy Clingan (broken toe) will hope to at least make the bench. Jordan Clarke (knee) is still out.
ROVERS’ Martin Woods’ groin problem could keep him out until the new year, while Adam Lockwood (foot) and Byron Webster (shoulder) will hope to feature.

Crystal Palace v Ipswich
PALACE’s Paddy McCarthy is out until spring with his shoulder injury. Sean Scannell is pushing to start, while forward Freddie Sears is set to return to West Ham in January.
IPSWICH’s Jon Walters and Grant Leadbitter are still suspended after their game last week was postponed. Alex Bruce (groin) and Lee Martin (heel) should be fit.

Derby v Blackpool
DERBY’s Rob Hulse is pushing to start following his hamstring injury, Fredrik Stoor has an ankle problem, while Miles Addison (foot) is close to a return. Kris Commons (hamstring) is not ready.
BLACKPOOL midfielder David Vaughan is still suspended following last week’s postponement. Charlie Adam (calf) is a major concern, Ben Burgess and Billy Clarke (both knee) are also worries.

Leicester v Sheff Utd
LEICESTER’s Martyn Waghorn is still suspended, and due to last week’s postponement this is game two of his three-game ban. Bruno Berner could be fit after his calf injury, although Ryan McGivern will hope to start.
The BLADES’ Henri Camara is pushing to start, along with Derek Geary and Ched Evans may feature. Darius Henderson (hip) is still injured.

Middlesbrough v Scunthorpe
BORO’s Adam Johnson (hamstring) is struggling. Seb Hines (ankle) is out for two months, while Didier Digard (back), Jeremie Aliadiere (ankle) and Matthew Bates (cruciate) are injured.
The IRON have had time to get players fot after their postponement last week, so Cliff Byrne (hamstring) and Martyn Woolford (foot) could be ready. Ben May is close to a return.

Preston v Barnsley
PRESTON, disappointing at Forest last time out, could start Eddie Nolan and Velice Shumulikoski. Youl Mawene (knee) is close to a return, but Barry Nicholson (broken leg) is still injured.
BARNSLEY, now without Nathan Doyle after his loan ended, could start Iain Hume. Skipper Stephen Foster (cut eye) is also pushing to start.

QPR v Bristol City
RANGERS’ Rowan Vine could start, while Gary Borrowdale and Angelo Balanta are also pushing for places. Steven Reid (hamstring) may be in contention, while Matt Connolly (pelvis) is also close.
The ROBINS will give Marvin Elliot (knee) a late fitness test, but are optimistic he’ll be fit. Ivan Sproule has a hamstring problem.

Reading v Swansea
READING’s Chris Armstrong could return, Noel Hunt (knee) and Brian Howard (jaw) are out, while Simon Church is suspended after his red card at Bristol.
SWANSEA are unlikely to make changes, though Tom Butler is pushing to start. Mark Gower has a hamstring problem, while Garry Monk (calf) may be ready.

Sheff Wed v Newcastle
WEDNESDAY, now 10 games without a league win, could ring the changes, meaning Warren Feeney, Tom Soares, Luke Varney and Michael Gray will all hope to feature.
TOON striker Andy Carroll returns from suspension, but may only make the bench. Joey Barton (foot) is still a few weeks from a return, while winger Fabrice Pancrate is pushing to start.

Watford v Nottm Forest
WATFORD’s Nathan Ellington is set to move to Greek side Skoda Xanthi on loan. Craig Cathcart (knee) is a concern, while Ross Jenkins (back) is still injured.
In-form FOREST’s Julian Bennett (knee) and Guy Moussi (ankle) are struggling with injury, Dexter Blackstock is pushing for a place, while David McGoldrick is also pushing for inclusion.

West Brom v Peterborough
The BAGGIES Scott Carson is still suspended, while last week’s postponement has allowed a number of players to regain fitness. Robert Koren (hernia), James Morrison (heel), Ishmael Miller and Neil Clement (both knee) may return in the new year.
POSH defender Gabriel Zakuani looks to be over his groin injury. George Boyd is one booking away from a one-match ban.
