Stan James have begun betting on the Grammys and Golden Globes and make “Up In The Air” the 4/7 favourite to take the award for Best Film with George Clooney 8/11 to take the Golden Globe for Best Actor.
The awards ceremony is Sunday January 17th.
Head of PR Charlie McCann: “Gorgeous George has already won a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in Syriana back in 2005 when he went on to take the Oscar later in the year. He is therefore likely to view a Globe for Best Actor as a good omen ahead of the Oscar nominations which are due to be announced on Tuesday February 2nd.”
Beyonce is favourite to take the Grammys for both Album and Record of the Year at 13/8 and 11/10 with I Am Sasha Fierce and Halo respectively. The Grammy winners will be announced on 31st January.
