Tricky Trickster Heads Grand National Betting

HORSE RACING: AON Chase winner Tricky Trickster is Stan James‘ 12/1 antepost favourite for the 2010 John Smith’s Grand National following the unveiling of the weights for the world’s most famous race.

2009 Irish Grand National winner Niche Market is next in at 16/1 with bet365, followed by Big Fella Thanks at 20/1 with Ladbrokes, Possol 20/1 (Coral) and Black Apalachi also 20/1 at Betfred.

Head of PR at Stan James, Charlie McCann:”Irish trained horses have won six of the last eleven renewals but we are betting 3/1 that the Irish prevail in 2010. Paul Nicholls has another strong hand in the race and we bet 6/1 that the Master of Ditcheat breaks his National duck, and 10/1 that Willie Mullins wins a second National with David Pipe also 10/1 to supplement Comply Or Die’s 2008 Aintree success.”
