HORSE RACING: Following a day of sustained support for Crowded House, Ladbrokes have slashed the four year old’s odds to win the Dubai World Cup in half to 161 from 33s.
The Magic Sign’s David Williams told betrescue.com that Brian Meehan’s charge is already the worst result in their antepost book ahead of the big race at the end of March: “We’d barely seen a penny on Crowded House for the World Cup following his defeat at Meydan last week but all of a sudden we were laying the 33/1 and his price is in freefall.”
Gio Ponti and Vision D’Etat are Ladbrokes joint favourites at 6/1.
