HORSE RACING: Big Fella thanks is just 9/1 at Coral for the Grand National but 12s at Blue Square following his win in the Greatwood Gold Cup at Newbury at the weekend.
The Paul Nicholls trained 8-y-o jumped well to take the feature race on the card on Saturday, and despite it being over two miles shorter than the National, it was the perfect prep race.
“The horse went into most peoples notebook for the National after his excellent sixth in the race last year, and with this win he must now be considered a live contender over a preferred longer trip.” Coral
