Paul Ferguson has one selection for us on Saturday; Kingston Hill in the Doncaster 15.50. Compare odds and bet.
Despite arriving at Doncaster without a prep run and his overall participation being under some threat for the best part of the week, Derby runner-up Kingston Hill (3:50) is fancied to appreciate this new trip and can land the season’s final Classic.
Roger Varian’s grey ran a blinder at Epsom, on his sole start at 1m4f, and, though his pedigree doesn’t suggest that an extra quarter-mile will be a positive, his style of racing certainly suggests it will.
The Mastercraftsman colt was trading at 7-2 overnight and, at those odds, his stamina is worth taking on trust, as he looks the stand out performer in the line-up.
