Paul Ferguson has two selections for us on Thursday, Elsie in the Limerick 6.05 and Etaab in the Doncaster 7.55. Compare odds and bet.
William Haggas’ Etaab (7:55) is progressing nicely and can complete the hat-trick in the fillies’ handicap at Doncaster on Thursday evening.
The Street Cry three-year-old showed plenty of pace when winning a Yarmouth handicap over a mile last time, so the drop back in trip should not be an issue. Paul Hanagan’s mount was 5/4 with Bet365 last night.
Over in Ireland Elsie (6:05) is also going the right way and appeared to relish the fast ground over this trip at Roscommon earlier in the month.
Thomas Mullins’ seven-year-old was useful in bumpers and looks a much-improved performer on better ground. The Milan mare had one of today’s rivals Beach Of Falesa in behind when shedding her maiden tag at Punchestown and she can make it three wins from her last four outings at Limerick.
Aidan O’Brien’s mare is capable of getting closer than she did at Punchestown, but preference is for the Galway Hurdle entry, who is at the top of her game at present.
Thursday’s selections:
6:05 Limerick: Elsie; 6/4 William Hill
7:55 Doncaster: Etaab; 5/6 Stan James
